Right... NO light!
The drill seems to work just fine. Not seeing any charging light, as was described in the instructions, concerned me. I called B&D. The rep said she was unsure whether or not the manual may be incorrect - but just to be on the safe side, is sending me another charger (where the light would be if there was one - not on the battery or drill itself).
PS: A new charger came... No light on it, either. Te manual that says it has one is simply incorrect. On the other hand, since I first wrote this note, I have used the frill many times and the performance is amazingly reliable and strong. A good value for the price with or without a light!
