Makita BDF 452 18 volt
I've been using this drill, as well as the impact driver that came with it, for about a year now without any notable problems. There are few things that should be pointed out though, both negative and positive that are particular to this cordless drill.
The height (from the base of the battery to the high/low gear switch) is short, which makes this drill able to fit into spaces where many wouldn't. It also has a good amount of power for its size, ..but if you push it hard the battery looses its charge fairly quickly.
The biggest flaw I've found is in the light. Though having any light at all is nice when you are working inside a cabinet, or when looking for a dropped screw, the placement of the bulb is such that a shadow is created by the chuck exactly where the tip of a drill bit often ends up. This shadow falls in a different place depending on how far the chuck is from the work (paddle bit v.s. 1/8" twist bit, etc..) but on average the shadow is in the way more...
