I am happy with it
I recently used my sons Hitachi hammer/drill and found it to be excellent especially for its torquing power. It not only bites into wood and countersinks but will continue on through the board and beyond. I own a slightly different model which is not the hammer type and while I love it it does not have this power although each drill is 18 volts and 1/2". I also loved the pull out chuck on the hammer drill which securely grips the bit. I am forever losing bits because they sometimes fall out of mine when it is pointed down. I have to keep a magnet nearby just to find them. I found my sons hammer/drill to be an excellent tool.
