I really wanted to love this drill. When it arrived the case was broken, and the batteries seemed to be damaged (made a rattling sound), I contacted cpo metabo who made a warranty claim and said that a new case and batteries will be sent out along with instructions to return the defective items. 3 days later i received a email from cpo metabo stating that metabo north america is denying the the warranty claim!! after further research i discovered that Many people have had problems with there warranty. If a company will not stand by a brand new product, what is it going to be like in a year if something is wrong.
I returned the drill, postage paid by cpo metabo and they refunded my payment in full. Metabo cpo is a first rate operation, but the manufacturer has bad business practices. I will never buy another metabo product. I will be giving all of our company's business to Hilti.
