My husband has bought a few cheaper drills over the years only to have them break, malfunction, or sizzle-out after a short period of time. He wanted this drill for Christmas. Of course, all I could see at first was the price-tag. I'm happy to report, he's using this drill all the time and it works great, has not had one problem, and he has no buyers remorse (nor do I)! My brother-in-law built his home and this was the only drill he used throughout the project. You can imagine the use it had over the last 18 months and it is still going strong.
