Treasurer opinions several customers:>>
Ok results
The gun works pretty well with 1 1/4 - 1 5/8 screws. It does not work very well with 2" screws. It does not drive them all the way in. I had purchased 1000 2" screws on sale for $5. I was intending on putting 1/2 drywall over existing 1/2, but decided to tear the old stuff down first, so I did not get to use them for this. I tried using the 2" screws for 5/8 drywall. They would probably work good if you had 2" of drywall material. Also the original senco batteries went bad after a few years. I found that the Ryobi 14.4 from Home Depot fit fine. They seem to have about the same battery life an power. I was hoping for stronger performance.
